Swatch sheets: they make choosing polishes for my nail art so much easier because seeing them all together like this really helps put things into perspective & I can take them with me in a folder everywhere (in case I’m doing somebody else’s nails).
I organise them by color & when I get a new polish, I swatch it immediately, together with writing the brand, polish name and a number that corresponds to that polish in my sheets.
Okay so there is a competition on Avon UK facebook to win £500 worth of beauty products and a whole nail polish range. The top 25 voted nails get shown to Alesha Dixon and she chooses the winner, and the runners up get lots of goodies too.
Please vote for my space nails! If they were to get as many votes as they have likes and reblogs I would most definitely be in the top 25! :)
If you message me once you have voted, I will follow you and should I win anything, I would be more than happy to do a big giveaway!!!

You will need: two nail polish colors, make up sponge, acetone/brush for clean up, tape (optional) 1. Apply your base color of choice until it reaches full opacity. Allow to dry. (Don’t forget to use your base coat!~) 2. Generously brush your second polish (color you want on the tips) ONTO the flat surface of your makeup sponge—it will absorb polish relatively quickly. Starting from the tip of your nail, slowly and gently dab sponge towards the middle of the nail, working tiny sections at a time. Repeat this step until the tip of your nail is opaque. Do not worry if you were sloppy! You may tape around your nail to avoid cleanup. 3. To correct any inconsistencies in the previous step, brush both colored polishes above each other onto the makeup sponge—don’t forget to apply polish generously on the sponge. Now you will dab up and down slightly on your ENTIRE nail so that the gradient will become very fluid. (:4. Remove tape if used and using a tiny brush dipped in pure acetone, clean up the cuticle area and around the nail. Top with top coat!!!! If you use my tutorial for your own creations, please tag me! I’d love to see how awesome you guys do! Also, you can follow me on Instagram for more frequent posts via slacquerr!
